WSOP-C Regional Championship: Ali Eslami won the title

The verdict was finally known at the poker room of Harrah's Rincon after a final table full of action. Indeed, the World Series of Poker Circuit Regional Championship (WSOP-C) come to crown its champion, Ali Eslami. Note that the final table was composed by players like Dwite Pilgrim but he failed to win his third victory in the WSOP Circuit-C and settled this time for the 8th place or Steve Brecher who finished 4 th. The two players pocketed respectively $ 38,808 and $ 90,223, and like the other competitors in the final table, they will be part of the field of the National Championship. Ali Eslami played well in poker for his first year of participation in major tournaments. After a second place in the tournament The Big Event of Commerce Casino Los Angeles, he won this time his first trophy. His experiences in cash games clearly helped him to earn success in tournaments.

The final battle faced two experienced players who have recently made great achievements in major championships who are Eslami and Tim West. After his triumph at the Wynn Poker Classic, Tim West had just missed one of the biggest title of his career. However, his performance was well deserved because he cashed $ 174,443. DJ Blanchard was awarded the third place with a reward of $ 124,204. And David Peters, Dana Kellstrom, Dylan Wilkerson and Miller Dao finished respectively 5th, 6th, 8th and 9th. For this great feat, then, Eslami pocketed $ 282,242 and the gold ring. He will be also part of the competitors for the big event in May during which the champion will win the first prize in addition to a WSOP bracelet.
