Grandes Ecoles Poker Tour 2011: The title to Kevin Fleer of ESC Grenoble

28 French high schools and universities were present at the casino Tranchant of Pougues-les-Eaux on last Saturday, March 26 at the final of the Grandes Ecoles Poker Tour 2011. A third edition in which the few hundred lucky players among the thousand claimants lived a friendly atmosphere during the Main Event tournament. Shortly after the start of the game, a first player has already been eliminated from the competition. Alternately until round No. 9, lot of participants had to leave the circuit with the defending champion Pierrick Jamal, this time ranked at the 85th place and the representative of woman players, Diane Nevot de Guisa. Thus, only the thirteen best players of all these high schools already assured of being paid competed for the nine seats of the final table.



At the final table of the Grandes Ecoles Poker Tour 2011, the nine finalists are players from 7 French colleges including two student players each for ESC Amiens and Skema and 5 other players representing respectively ESC Grenoble, Telecom Bretagne, ESC Dijon, ESSCA and Rms. Moreover, this third edition was won by the student player Kevin Fleer of ESC Grenoble. Thus, in addition to his immense personal joy that he saw as a dream by winning the title with a gain of € 2,713, he accomplished his mission by honoring all his colleagues and officials of Grenoble school. The winner of the 2011 GEPT 2011 already promised he will be back in the next edition to defend his title.
