EPT Snowfest Day 4: A good day for Belgian players

Despite their low turnout during Day 4 which is the last day of the Main Event of the European Poker Tour Snowfest, estimated at 2% of the field, Belgian poker players more than excelled in this fourth day of the European circuit. In fact, Belgium was more than honoured by placing three players at the final table of the EPT Snowfest that was be held in the afternoon of Friday, March 25, 2011 in the playroom of the Alpine Palace Hotel in Saalbach Hinterglemm. Moreover, representatives of Belgium were well placed in the standings at the final table chipcounts like the player Kevin Vandersmissen, the chip leader of the ultimate test.



Thus, the 8 finalists players of the EPT Snowfest of Alpine Palace Hotel in Saalbach-Hinterglemm are now known. They are respectively the Belgian and chip leader Kevin Vandersmissen holding 4,512,000 chips, the runner-up Cristian Dragomir of Romania with 2,293,000 tokens, another Belgian Philip Meulyzer who has 1,758,000, the Russian Vladimir Geshkenbein with 678,000 chips, the third Belgian and member of team 770 Koen De Visscher with 1,543,000 tokens, the Irishman Denis Murphy who has 991,000 chips, the Italian Giacomo Maisto with a small stack of 986,000 chips, the Danish Morten Mortensen who has a little over 780,000 chips. After this final table that has structure with blinds of 15.000/30.000 and ante of 3000, the winning player of this stage will win a gain of around € 390,000 without forgetting the title of EPT Snowfest and the winner trophy. Moreover, the eventual champion of this stage will be invited in the new tournament of the EPT circuit which is the Champion of Champions, in Gran Casino Madrid on May 13, 2011.
