EPT Snowfest Day 3: Giacomo Maisto as chipleader

The third day of competition at the European Poker Tour Snowfest 2011 (EPT) started yesterday Wednesday, March 23 at 2:00 p.m in the poker room of the Alpine Palace Card Casino. It was a short day because it took only 5 levels of play to determine the 24 qualifiers for Day 4. Unfortunately, all representatives of France failed to qualify for this field more and more restricted. Indeed, the last French present on the gaming tables of the EPT Snowfest who were Dominic Franchi, Sebastien Bidinger, Yoran Kerignard and Bruno Martin were successively eliminated before the end of Day 3. They however reached paid places. The Italian Luca Pagano also finished in the money at this competition. He has therefore currently 18 cashes in the EPT circuit, which proves his consistency.

On Thursday around 2:00 pm, the 24 survivors will again play poker with the best of themselves because it will be a decisive day in which the final table of the EPT Snowfest will be known. With 1,548,000 chips in hand, the Italian Giacomo Maisto will begin the following of the tournament as chip leader. He is therefore in an excellent position. Moreover, apart from the Russian Alex Kravchenko and the Belgian Pierre Neuville, no renowned player is in the field of Day 4. A priori, with such an advantage, the Italian will win the coronation. Iulian Ruxandescu holds the second place with 1,281,000 chips in hand and Christian Tarde is at the third position.
