The Big Event Bounty Shootout: Nice victory of Pat Walsh

In total, 81 players composed of a good bunch of poker players participated in the Shootout Bounty Tournament of "The Big Event" which just concluded at the Bicycle Casino in Los Angeles. Note that in this tournament, competitors must play poker at nine tables of nine players each. Only one competitor per table is qualified for the final table. However, throughout the tournament, the player who managed to eliminate an opponent receives a bounty of $ 2,000 during the first round and $ 10,000 in the final. Thus, after approximately 15 hours of play, the event ended with the victory of Pat Walsh, who won a first prize of $ 171,000 and bounties totaling approximately $ 70,000.

Indeed, part of the finalists, Pat Walsh demonstrated endurance and managed to resist until the final duel that opposed him to Ali Eslami. Holder of more tokens, Walsh went on to win the trophy despite the fine efforts of Eslami. Note that the public of the poker room of the Bicycle Casino was able to attend the wonderful performances of the world poker champion Jonathan Dumahel at this tournament. As one of the finalists, he was eliminated by Joe Tehan at the 6th place. He still won $ 62,000 because he ousted a few players in this tournament. Indeed, apart from some of his opponents in the first round, he also defeated Victor Ramdim (9th) on the final table. Shane Shleger, Matt Woodward, John Smith, Joe Tehan and Alex Keating finished respectively 8th, 7th, 5th, 4th and 3rd.
