High Roller EFOP 2011: Victory of Imad Derwiche

The last tournament part of the European Finals of Poker (EFOP) 2011 including the € 10,000 High Roller delivered its verdict on Thursday, February 17. The High Roller event allows participants to play poker with high level opponents and win great rewards. Note that the EFOP 2011 was held in the poker room of the famous gambling club Aviation Club de France. Apart from the award ceremonies, the first edition of the World Poker Tour National Series that designated the Russian Natalia Nikitina as winner also took place during this EFOP 2011. Some poker stars were among the finalists for the High Roller as Basil Yaiche, final table chip leader and Ludovic Lacay fourth largest stack holder. Unfortunately, they were removed too early and did not even have the chance to access to the paid places.

The final table of the High Roller EFOP 2011 lasted about 15 hours after which, Firas Nassar and Haim Kakoum managed to win respectively the 3rd place with a reward of € 46,000 and the 4 th place with a price of € 20,642 while Sayah Bouali were eliminated at the second place after having been defeated by the player of Senegalese origin Imad Derwiche in the final head's up. As champion, Derwiche collected the first prize of € 125,000 and the runner up pocketed € 65,000.
