WPT Paris National Series: The Russian Natalia Nikitina won the trophy

The first edition of the World Poker Tour (WPT) Paris National Series attracted 188 players generating a prize pool of € 870,850 distributed to the 18 best competitors. A beautiful success has been recorded. Note that the event took place simultaneously with the Euro Finals of Poker at Aviation Club de France. And for the first time, a woman won a WPT title. Indeed, after a final table full of action, the victory went to Natalia Nikitina, a young 23 years old Russian who is an avid of online poker specifically High Stakes on the Internet. According to some informations, the champion already won in a tournament of € 5,000 in an online poker room after having faced male opponents for 13 hours.



On the gaming table of the WPT National Series, she repeated the feat. It must be said that Natalia Nikitina has a knack for playing poker very well because she succeeded in eliminating the most ferocious at this final table like Benjamin Pollack, who was leading with 1.2 million chips on the beginning of the game, Sam Trickett, Tobias Wagner or the runner-up Alexandre Brivot. Thus, Benjamin Pollack finished fourth while Trickett and Wagner finished respectively 5th and 6th. Jean Louis Tepper earned the third place. Some stars of the game like Isabelle Mercier, Manuel Bevand or Ilan Boujenah have reached the paid seats at this final. For her magnificent performance, Natalia Nikitina pocketed € 243,830 and with this triumph, she gets now the status of poker stars.
