EFOP: Victory of Darko Stojanovic at the Silver Championship

Less than 10% of the 146 competitors who took part in the Gold Championship of € 2,000 of the Euro Finals of Poker (EFOP) with a prize pool of € 290,000 on Saturday are still competing for the title and the famous check of € 76,100. After the two fateful days of the event, it remains only 12 players for the resumption of Day 3 with blinds of 3.000/6.000 on the circuit to try to win the first podium of the gold championship. Pierre Milan with 651,500 chips is the chip leader, followed by Ilan Boujenah, runner-up holding 603,000 coins and other players as Julien Muel 454,000, Benjamin Pollak 303,000, Sardal Tal 231,000, Idriss Ambraisse 163,000, Dino Marsan 153,000, Bruno Solo 124,000, Jean-Noël Thorel 120,000, Christ Falck79,000, Fabien Perrot 55,000 and Petr Ionescu 38,000.



Moreover, the result of the Silver championship in the same series of poker tournament currently taking place at the Aviation Club de France is already known. In this tournament of € 1,000 buy-in for a prize pool of € 170,715, Darko Stojanovic distinguished himself from other competitors and stole the top spot in this event with a field of 182 registered participants at the start, pocketing € 49,960. He triumphed in front of his opponent in the final duel, the Swiss Roger Tondeur, second with a gain of € 33,425. The other paid players in the Silver championship of the EFOP 2011 are Hnatow Anthony € 21,802, Marc Inizan € 13,415, Raphael Hug € 10,065, Daniel Uzand € 8,385, Suat Uyanik € 6,710, Frank Pepe € 5,030, Abdelakim Laidouni € 3,488, Max Dauphin, Mickael Sebban and Remy Biechel € 2,515.
