Aussie Millions: The $ 250,000 tournament entry price won by Erik Seidel

Among the tournaments offered by the organizers of the Aussie Millions, the one of $ 250,000 buy-in was sensational. With such an entry price, only a few players risked venturing to be part of the field but the 20 participants fixed has still been achieved for this poker tournament. Furthermore, the emotion was present, especially for the one who would be the winner of this event. Indeed, after his third place at the $ 100,000 Challenge of Monday, January 24, 2011, Erik Seidel did in this record entry fee tournament the biggest win of his career which was $ 2.5 million. A valuable amount that allowed the U.S. player to reach the 3rd rank in the All Time Money List of gains in live poker tournaments, following Daniel Negreanu and Phil Ivey.



The 20 participants in the $ 250,000 Challenge Aussie Millions were all well known stars of poker who are by ranking Erik Seidel, Sam Trickett, David Benyamine, Wang Qiang, Richard Yong, Chris Ferguson, Andrew Feldman, Phil Ivey, Nikolay Evdakov, Daniel Cates, Paul Phua, Tony Bloom, Annette Obrestad, Eugene Kachalov, John Juanda, Alexander Kostritsyn, Roland de Wolfe, Tom Dwan, James Edge and James Obst. The Head's-Up of this expensive tournament of $ 250,000 buy-in was also a remake of the $ 100,000 Challenge between tthe British Sam Trickett and the American Erik Seidel. The winner of this event was more that of last Monday but this time, the first place went to Erik Seidel.
