EPT Deauville: The Main Event, starting this Tuesday, January 25
Poker enthusiasts in France will once again compete for the title of the famous French step of the European Poker Tour (EPT) circuit. Indeed, this great appointment of poker was a huge success last year with 768 players registered that permit to organizers to amass a prize pool of € 3,686,400. The trophy was won by Jake Cody. From January 24 to 31, 2011, the city of Normandy will once again host enthusiasts of this game who be received at the Salon des Ambassadors, at the International Center of Deauville. Effectively, the season 7 of the EPT Deauville chose the center thanks to its huge space able to receive the estimated 1000 competitors in the Main Event which will start on January 25 at noon. Note that the center has a panoramic view of the sea and is a very privileged place to host such event.
Wonderful events will take place during the EPT Deauville but the most anticipated of all is the main event of € 5,300 buy-in composed of two Day 1. Many professional players like Bertrand Elky, Vanessa Rousso, Ludovic Lacay, Luca Pagano, Antoine Saout, Jean Paul Pasqualini, Isabelle Mercier, Bruno Fitoussi, Fabrice Soulier, Valentin Messina, Léo Truche or Estelle Denis and celebrities in the world of show biz to name Kool Shen, Virginie Efira, Patrick Bruel and Sebastien Chabal will be among the competitors. For this first stage of the EPT that takes place in French soil, natives of the country will certainly try to defend as much as possible the country's honor. The public expects effectively to see of their compatriots on the podium of the International Center of Deauville.
