PCA Charity tournament: Mike Myers of Austin Powers present on the gaming tables

Recently, it became customary for organizers of major poker tournaments to offer charity tournaments to the benefit of various charitable associations in order to prove that the poker community also has an excellent mood and great generosity. The organizers of the Poker Caribbean Adventure (PCA) circuit have not forgotten this humble cause during the PCA 2011, they chose to contribute in the fight against AIDS. Thus, on last January 13, a poker tournament was organized for the benefit of "amfAR, or Foundation for Research against AIDS. Many celebrities like the actor Kevin Dillon, Fatima Moreira, Ricky Lake, Jayde Nicole and renowned poker pros as Bertrand Grospellier, Arnaud Mattern, Liv Boeree, Sandra Naujoks, Lex Veldhui and Marcel Luske attended the event.



The participation of Verne Troyer aka "Mini Moi", the famous actor of Austin Powers playing Mike Myers enjoyed the audience at this charity tournament. Troyer, with his small size of 0.81 m is known for his charisma and his talent as an actor. During this charity tournament, although he also framed his role as a poker player even though he admitted he is still in a learning phase. The founder of amfAR, Kenneth Cole, did not forget to thank the 58 competitors in the poker tournament for their generosity and hopes to defeat the scourge as soon as possible.
