EPT Deauville 2011: Turbo side event tournaments as novelty

The town of Deauville, in Normandy will host for a whole week the European Poker Tour (EPT) from January 24 to 31, 2011 at its International Center. Besides the nine planned satellites scheduled for this European tour, two of which are attached to the Main Event of € 550 buy-in, there will be a total of twenty tournaments in the program. Of course the main event of the European festival of poker will be the most popular event among participants and which aim to gather more than 1,000 players for this great event. This event will have as entry fee € 5,000. For the side events of the EPT Deauville 2011, ten additional tournaments will emerge for this New Year and are defined as Turbo formats.

As its name suggests, these side tournaments will be played in a form of expeditious structure like the bounty mode which is practiced by the elimination of several players. This event is available for an entry fee between € 300 and € 1,000 except for the High Roller Turbo Max 6 which is € 5,000 + € 250 buy-in. The big improvement of the EPT 2011 edition is the creation of tournaments only to men, "Men Only Turbo € 300 + € 30 "and women "Women Only € 300 + € 30" players and players whose finalists will compete against ex post. Two other Pot Limit Omaha tournaments will be played on January 27 for a buy-in of € 1.000 + € 100 and on January 30 for € 500 + € 50 and more, a daring tournament of € 10,000 + € 300 buy-in on January 30 and 31 and a heads-up of € 3,000 + € 250 limited to 64 players are all in the calendar of this event.
