Macao: An impressive year 2010

Macao, the Chinese city do not cease to surprise by his rank of meritorious capital of the world game by displacing far the city of Las Vegas. This superb health of the center world of gambling and poker that has already held the record revenue at the expense of the city of the state of Nevada impressed even for the year 2010 which just ended. Indeed, this city, a former Portuguese colony reverted to China a few years ago, has once again proved that it now reigns in one master in the gambling world. For the annual financial results of 2010, figures obtained by Macau casinos are eloquent.

The revenues generated in this town was about 23.5 billion dollars; as compared to the previous year 2009, is increasing of not less than 60%, which gives a figure of over 15 billion dollars. This increase during the 12 months of last year is not the only performance gained by the Macau gambling halls, there are also the historical record in terms of monthly revenues collected for the month of December itself is encrypted to 2.3 billion dollars, which are 66 times more if we refer to gains generated from the same period of the year 2009. In short, gambling and poker played in Macao are four times of those of casinos in Las Vegas. This success of casinos in the Chinese city is far from being appreciated by local authorities who would want to stop this phenomenal development.
