WSOP: The year 2010 also had its share of new crowned

The greatest failure as a poker pro is to not acquire a trophy of the World Series of Poker (WSOP). Indeed, as usual, the media draft at each end of the year a list of great players who have not yet obtained WSOP bracelets. Being part of this list is a considerable embarrassment and while some are preparing to clear their names by making special efforts to win a WSOP trophy, others let down by the situation. This year 2010, Gus Hansen, Phil Laak and Gavin Smith were among the targets and they won their first bracelets.

Indeed, Gavin Smith added to his countless awards the $ 2,500 Mixed Hold'em WSOP 2010 title. The people came in numbers to witness this feat of Smith when he started the final duel. And it was with excitement and joy that he received his trophy and his $ 268,238 reward. Phil Laak, with the encouragement of his best friend Antonio Esfandiari, also won his first title at the WSOP at the £ 2,650 No Limit Hold'em Six Max of the WSOP Europe. Note that Laak was close to the track last year at the same event but in the end, Johnny Chan won it. As for Gus Hansen, the only trophy that was missing to his prize list was offered to him at the heads-up £ 10,350 WSOP Europe 2010. Indeed, Gus Hansen is known by the public for his talent in poker and his many victories in major tournaments as three titles at the World Poker Tour and a title at the Aussie Millions circuit.
