Poker Club de Villenauxe-la-Grande: The first tournament on January 8, 2011
The Poker Club de Villenauxe-la-Grande, is officially formed with the filing of its status nearby the sub-prefecture of Nogent-sur-Seine, in France. This new association is open to all adult people who have a passion for poker, specifically No Limit Texas Holdem. Like any association, this poker club has a board which is chaired by Stephanie Compper, with Loucas Compper as secretary and the treasurer is Chris Mayer. The Chairman, initiator of this project, who has just moved in this town, is essentially a player for fun. It's in this idea that she created the association that promotes the integration into local life with the spirit of sharing the passion for poker. According to the club president, she wants to especially encourage women to form a real female team in Villenauxe and in the region.
From the first week of the new year, the association will be active and will provide weekly training meetings, internal tournaments with a club ranking, interclub tournaments and open tournaments with various prizes. A total of seven tournaments will be in the program of the Poker Club de Villenauxe-la-Grande for 2011 including the first freezeout free Texas Holdem No Limit with a structure of 7,000 chips and 20 minute rounds to be played on Saturday, 8 January 2011 in the village hall of Villenauxe. Open to all with limited seats, this tournament with attractive prize will offer for the first player a package for the Florida Poker Tour to be held from 21 to 25 February 2011. Moreover, the second prize will be a laptop.
