January 2011: Aussie Million, PCA and tournament on African soil in the program
Besides the usual and prestigious European events, the month of January 2011 will also be made of cascades of poker tournaments taking place around the world. Four destinations as attractive as each other will be offered to professionals and amateurs of the discipline among which two of them will be held on the African continent, which begin to become more and more famous. The European Poker Tour Poker Caribbean Adventure in the Bahamas will open the show with a new annual edition which will take place during a week from January 8 to 14, at the Atlantis Resort & Casino. A huge prize of more than $ 15 million will be shared throughout the competition at this famous festival of poker with a buy-in of $ 10,300 for the Main Event. Oceania will not be outdone by the famous Australian tournament, Aussie Millions in Melbourne. The competition will run from January 13 to 31 and will still be held at the prestigious Crown Casino. It will be composed of 20 tournaments including the $ 10,600 Main Event.
Africa will host for the first month of 2011 two major events. The first appointment will be played in the capital of Senegal. Indeed, players who love the sun will be invited to participate in the third edition of the Dakar Poker Tour. This tournament will be hosted by the beautiful Terrou-Bi resort, located along the Atlantic and will run from January 11 to 17. The African festival of poker will continue later in the Moroccan capital, which will feature two tournaments for poker enthusiasts at the luxurious Casino Es Saadi : the Big Poker Series from January 19 to 21 with a € 1,500 Main Event and the 18th Festival of Marrakesh Poker Open to be played on January 22 and 23 with a Main Event buy-in set at € 2,700.
