WSOP-C Regional Championship : Vanessa Selbst as chip leader of the Day 1

Poker enthusiasts get wasted to offer themselves a nice price and a title to close in beauty the year 2010. Thus, most poker tournaments held in this period recorded a lot of success. The World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOP-C) Regional Championship are taking place at Harrah's Atlantic City. With a buy-in rather high of $ 10,000, the tournament attracted 1,366 participants. A large delegation of top players joined Harrah's Atlantic City to attend the event. At the end of Day 1, it stayed only 93 competitors vying for the rest of the competition. Indeed, most of stars of the game came there and already in the top rankings, a proof of their excellent fit. After amassing 126,375 chips, Vanessa Selbst took the place of chip leader. She is in the way to a new exploit that could improve her prize list for the year 2010.



The 93 survivors of Day 1 that meet on the gaming tables on Monday from noon are among other Isaac Baron, Andy Frankenberger, Kenny Hicks, Bernard Lee, David Sands, Shannon Shorr, Curt Kohlberg, Dan Kelly, Leo Wolpert, David Baker, Dan Heimiller, John Cernuto, Brock Parker, Chris Bell, Scott Fischman and TJ Cloutier. They have all the necessary qualities and skills required to claim the top spot. But in the other hand, several well known poker players suffered of an early defeat in the first qualifying day. Indeed, Olivier Busquet, Barry Shulman, Kathy Liebert, Nick Binger, Keven Stammen, Matt Brady, John Monnette, Andrew Lichtenberger and Andy Bloch have already packed up.
