EPT Prague Day 3: Manuel Bévand in the way to the final

The bubble burst in Prague during the third day of competition of the European Poker Tour tournament (EPT). Among the 93 qualified players for the start of Day 3, there are only 23 to play the following of the event. While most of the French delegation present in the starting field of this poker tournament were eliminated, Manuel Bévand for his part made a great run and was qualified in the 8th place to defend the honor of France. 11 French players have also done a good course in this tournament by finishing in the money to name Alain Roy and Hugo Lemaire who each received € 8,000, Ronan Monfort has just pocketed his first cash of an amount of € 10.000, Guillaume Darcourt, Nicolas Babel and Fabrice Soulier.

For Day 4, the 23 survivors will return to the gaming tables of the Hilton Prague to qualify for a place on the final table. The competition will surely have many interesting actions because some previous EPT champions are competing in search of a bracelet as Italy's Salvatore Bonavena, the defending champion at the EPT Prague 2008 and the American Kevin MacPhee, champion of the EPT Berlin 2010. In addition, two former champions are in advantageous positions which gives them more chance to win the victory. If Bonavena is in the 4th place with 1,666,000 chips in hand, the U.S. takes the place of chip leader with 2,096,000 chips after removing the chip leader at the start of Day 3, Rirk Richter.
