WSOP Circuit Atlantic City: Matt Waxman crowned

Atlantic City has always been an exceptional meeting place for enthusiasts of gambling even before the fact that the poker industry know such enthusiasm. With the passage of the World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOP-C), Atlantic City is once again under the spotlight. 352 players made up of several pros play of the East Coast as Matt Glantz, Josh Briki or the holder of two titles WSOP-C Chris Klodnicki joined Harrah's Atlantic City to attend the Main Event of $ 1,600 buy-in of this round of the WSOP-C. Unfortunately, none of them could not qualify to the final table. Brandon Croft, Jesus Cabrera, Chris Bonita, Mike Summers, Manish Patel, Tam Ly, Dave Cubeta, Mark Sykes and Matt Waxman have been most fortunate to have acceded to the final table of the tournament.

Croft was at the place of chipleader at the start of this final day. But gradually, Matt Waxman gathered enough chips to be propelled ahead of the pack. After six hours of play during which he ousted Jesus Cabrera on the final duel, Waxman won his first major title in a poker tournament. And despite the advantage of Waxman at the beginning of this heads'up, the audience still enjoyed a thrilling final battle. For this victory, the new champion of WSOP-C Atlantic City received a bonus of $ 117,797, the gold ring and an entry fee to participate in the WSOP-C National Championship in May 2011. Poker fever continues to invade Atlantic City with the second Regional Championship which will start soon. Note that the runner up pocketed $ 72,824.
