EPT Prague : 563 registered players in total

To the delight of the organizers, 372 players attended and participated in Day 1B of the EPT Prague. In total therefore, the tournament attracted a field of 563 participants. Admittedly, a slight decrease in attendance compared to last year is recorded but the success of the event is still guaranteed. Thus, the organizers have booked a prize pool of € 2,730,550 which will be shared between the 80 best players in the game. The champion will receive a grand prize of € 640,000, enough to give competitors a desire to fight back to earn the trophy. As expected, a significant number of good poker players joined the Czech capital to attend the second qualifying day among whom are Luca Pagano, James Akenhead, Bertrand Grospellier, Liv Boeree, Thomas Bichon, Bruno Fitoussi, Marcel Luske and Johnny Lodden.

At the end of the second first day, only 177 competitors survived. They will be 262 to play back the second day of competition. Bad luck accompanied ElkY since the outset and he capitulated at the beginning of level 5. Thomas Bichon was also among the victims. Dirk Richter and Roberto Romanello are in the lead with 296,700 chips in hand for the chip leader Dirk Richter. Among the famous players, Manuel Bevand managed to be among the top 10, Xavier Detournel and Christophe Benzimra are in the lead pack and are among players holding more than 100,000 chips, Alain Roy is at the 52nd place, Antonin Teissere 99th, 107th for Kool Shen and Antoine Saout is actually ranked 123th.
