USA: Opening of online gambling market intra-State

Proponents of online poker in the U.S., despite the ban, continue to play on well-known sites, even if they have no agreement. And even if online gambling industry could be a big financial windfall for the fund of the state, there are still many politicians and public authorities who continue to oppose such legalization. But the hope of online poker enthusiasts in the U.S. is being reborn because the State of New Jersey voted for the bill of Senator Robert Lesniak allowing city residents to play online games offered by local casinos. Before the end of the year so, residents of New Jersey will be able to play these online games legally. Other states are also about to follow the example of New Jersey.

Indeed, in Washington, DC Lottery is also in the way of acquiring a permit that would enable it to propose online bet and online poker. And in California, after the failures of the bill SB 1485 proposed by Senator Rod Wright, who knew strong opposition from Indian tribes and casinos in the State of California, Sen. Louis Correa member of the California Online Poker Association (COPA), introduced a new bill that promotes the game intra-State. The spokesman of COPA also condemned the Harry Reid bill designed to favor offshore sites and some operators in Nevada and Washington DC. Despite blockade of the official opening of the market for online gaming in the United States, the legalization of intra-state games is already a step further.
