3 Länder Poker Tour Vienna: Joris Springael crowned champion

This last month of the year 2010 is a good period for poker enthusiasts. Indeed, several Grand Final of poker events take place all around the world. Last week-end, the 3 Länder Poker Tour (3LT) circuit had just crowned the winner of its Grand Final at Montesino Pokertainment Center in Vienna, Austria. After steps in Germany and Switzerland, the 3LT tournament let to 261 poker players to compete and try to win a trophy and more. Note that the organizers headed by Thomas Kreser and Alen Babic decided to reward the top 24 players in the game with the prize pool of € 522,000 among which € 132,680 was reserved to the champion. This reward thus returned to Joris Springael after his success in the final duel against the Romanian Cristea Opri.



The chip leader of Day 3, Valentin Messina, finally ended up in 5th place. It must be said that he led the game during this final table but victim of a bad luck, he had to settle for the 5th price of € 34,940, a pretty good gain embellishing his portfolio during this festive period. Furthermore, despite missing title, Valentin Messina made a good run because this is his seventh participation on a final table. The runner up is therefore left the tournament with € 93,670 in his pocket. Alexander Debus (3rd), Rultger De Boer (4th), Pim Van Wieringen (6th), Yildiray Cam (7th) and Stjepan Jokic (8th) were also part of the lucky ones qualified for the title of the 3LT Vienna Grand Final.
