WPT Five Diamonds: A well deserved victory for Esfandiari

Throughout the competition World Poker Tour Five Diamonds (WPT) which was held at the poker room of the Casino Bellagio in Las Vegas, Antonio Esfandiari made talk about him by being the most often in place of chip leader. Thus, at the finish, he won logically the tournament despite some difficulties with the approach of the final table facing a field full of well known players. Indeed, the final table of the WPT Five Diamonds attracted major players such as Vanessa Rousso, Ted Lawson, Kirk Morrison, Andrew Roble, John Racener and Antonio Esfandiari. And the only woman who survived to the final was yet found in the head at the start of the day. But it was with brilliance and competence that 'The Magician' won the trophy. After having eliminated Rousso in the third place, Esfandiari show at the final head's up which opposed him to Andrew Robl that he was still a very good player, which earned him this beautiful second victory.

Indeed, this is the second victory of Antonio Esfandiari in the WPT circuit. His first WPT trophy was given to him six years ago at the WPT LA Poker Classic 2004. And with this new exploit that earned him a gain of $ 870,124, he is currently recording $ 4.5 million winnings in live tournament. The female poker star Vanessa Rousso had therefore missed an opportunity to be crowned champion of the WPT but nevertheless she well defended the honor of France and women population through her presence on the podium. The fourth place returned to the runner up of the World Series of Poker 2010, John Racener while Kirk Morrison and Ted Lawson were respectively ranked 5th and 6th.
