The tournament European Poker Tour (EPT) which will take place in the middle of this last month of the year will probably be the last major event for amateur and professional of poker for 2010. A great meeting which will be hosted by the capital of the Czech Republic. Is it a coincidence or is it deliberately from organizers but for the seventh season of the EPT, Prague will host for the fourth consecutive time during this moth of December the tournament. Compared to the organization of last year, there's no change to report. This Czech stage of six days, from December 13 to 18, 2010 is in the mid-way of the program provided by the European Poker Tour.

The competition place will be the same which is the prestigious Hilton Hotel. With regard to the actual tournament, the same structure was maintained. Thus, players will begin the game with 30,000 chips with blinds of 50/100. Each level of the first day will last 60 minutes and it will be added of 15 minutes, that is to say 75 minutes during the day 2. To be eligible to participate in the main event, competitors must pay a buy-in of € 5,300. Moreover, it remains to determine the number of participants which, to reiterate, were 588 during the sixth season of the EPT. Always about the past year, the victory went to local player in the person of Jan Skampa who dominated Eyal Avitan in the final heads'up. The young Czech player took home the sum of € 682,000.
