Queens of Poker: Christelle Cherubini succeeds to Estelle Denis
100% poker for women, the prestigious Cercle Haussmann in Paris has just witnessed it. Indeed, the 36 poker players that have completed the qualification that took place during a few months participated in the final of the ladies tournament Queens of Poker on last Sunday, December 5. Note that celebrities and poker professional filled the field to offer the public a very professional battle. The champion of the first edition, Estelle Denis, was supposed to defend her title but Alana Parienté crossed her road to the coronation.
So last Sunday, these women poker players offered the best of themselves to stay as long as possible on the gaming tables. Spectators had therefore to wait several hours before they know the nouns of the quaified for the final table. Caroline Diament, Eleonore Tocqueville, Claudine Couppé, Louisa Smail, Alana Pariente, Valerie Mallah, Marine Gesnat, Maya Saunier and Christelle Cherubini were the luckiest and the last qualified for the honorific title of Queen of Poker tournament. Note that the organizer of the tournament, Karine Noguiera, did everything necessary to collect wonderful lots to be distributed to the winners apart from the prize pool. Thus, after ousting Eleanor Tocque on the final heads'up, Christelle Cherubini grabbed the trophy and succeeds Estelle Denis as Queens of Poker champion. She won the package of € 7,300 for the European Poker Tour Deauville. This event will take place towards the end of January 2011, an excellent opportunity to properly represent the female gender and the Cercle Haussmmann.
