WPT Five Diamonds: A final between professionals

Since its launch, the World Poker Tour Five Diamonds (WPT) always presented an exceptional final table and this edition 2010 follow this same idea. Indeed, six professional poker players will fill the final table and it is certain that the public will see an battle of exception during the final day. Moreover, the first 5 days of competition of this WPT Bellagio did not miss action. On Day 5, there were only 15 survivors among the 438 registered for the championship. Early in the day, Esfandiari alias "The Magician" has always been ahead in search of a new WPT title. But throughout the qualification for the finals, his path has been tough face to opponents of size as Vanessa Rousso. Rousso eventually take over and raised the big pile of 5,830,000 chips.

She will be in charge to defend the honor of the descendants of Eve at the final but she will try to accomplish a feat that no other woman player poker has managed so far, to win a WPT title. Behind her is the second finalist of the world championship of poker in Las Vegas 2010, John Racener. He is also underway to try to embellish his record with a WPT title. Their quest will be difficult to accomplish because Esfandiari, 5th in chips, is still in excellent position to take the throne. Andrew Robl, Kirk Morrison and the champion of the World Series of Poker Ted Lawson will be also in the race for the prestigious trophy. The battle continues today in Las Vegas at 4:00 p.m or 11:00 p.m in French time. Note that the final will be broadcast directly on TV.
