WPT Marrakesh: Nicolas Levi in good fit for the Day 2

Since November 27, 2010, the Casino Es Saadi Marrakesh hosted the second edition of the World Poker Tour Marrakesh (WPT). For the first qualifying day, the organizers have registered a small field of 137 players. However, competitors composed of a majority of French players and a few notable stars of poker circuit offered a unique show to the public who came there to assist at the event. After 11 hours of confrontation, the starting field has shrunk to 86 players. The battle continued unabated until it only left 51 survivors for Day 2. The German Sebastian Homann, the French Nicolas Levi and Andrei One of Romania were qualified in the lead. And the champion of Latin American Poker Tour of Mar Del Plata, Dominik Nitsche, the winner of the grand finale of the Spanish Poker Tour Lloret Del Mar, Tristan Clémençon, Benjamin Pollack and Paul Trigo Pires are among the well known players who are part of the field of Day2.

For Day 1 B, a large delegation of renowned players such as Bertrand Grospellier, David Benyamine, Valentin Messina, Leo Truche, Ludovic Lacay and Antony Lellouche are estimated to join the Moroccan city to participate in the tournament. To reach the peak number of participants in the WPT Marrakesh 2009, the organizers should attract 279 competitors more on Day 1B. With the closing of the European Poker Tour Barcelona, poker enthusiasts will perhaps rush to Marrakesh to try to win the tournament title. Note that the WPT bracelet of last year will be awarded during this second edition.
