« Stars on Fire » : A too affluent first edition

Designed to accommodate 200 participants, the Cercle Cadet, a French poker circle, had finally contain some 234 poker players for the inaugural celebrities tournament « Stars on Fire ». A famous meeting but also a prestigious gathering during which too many amateurs and professionals were present. Thus, the Parisian circle succeeded in its objective of uniting is this poker tournament a lot of celebrities ready to pay for tickets earlier this week. The first tournament of « Stars on Fire » held this Monday, November 22, 2010 against a payment of € 150 has been attended by about thirty people, all poker enthusiasts like Michel Boujenah, Toifilou Maoulida, Alain Bouzigues, Pascal Sellem, the Castaldi father and son, Frederique Bel, Laurent Baffie, Tomer Sisley, Alexander Delperrier, Philippe Candeloro, Tex, Tunisiano, Samuel Le Bihan, Bruno Solo, Roschdy Zem and Moundir were each awarded of a bounty of €100.



They were reinforced by gamers like Barbara Martinez, Yves Hallague, Sabrina Derdaa, Nicolas Villemin and Karina Nogueira. For a prize pool of € 31,590, the starting stack was 8,000 chips with blinds of 25/50 and levels of 25 minutes. As results of the final table, there was the Head's Up between the winner Nicolas Delval who pocketed € 7,300 and Michel Boujenah who claimed the second place with earnings of € 4,500. The remaining € 19,790 were shared by 7 other finalists who were respectively Frederick Heuga, Sylvain Lachiver, Pascal Fernandes, Matheos Dasylva, Claude Marchand, Sébastien Ruiz De Conejo and Nabil Bestam.
