U.S. Poker Championship 2010: The title went to Edward Gamaitoni

Taj Mahal Casino in Atlantic City hosted on the past weekend the U.S. Poker Championship 2010. Just fewer than 100 participants lined up at the main event of the American championship. The buy-in of the tournament was set at $ 5,000, which included among others some 30,000 chips at the beginning and 75 minute rounds. The latest U.S. Poker Championship for 2010, played during the end of last week at the Casino Taj Mahal, has been marked by a low entrance fee but enough for most consistent players, numbering 96. However, this meeting saw the U.S. national presence of some renowned professionals in the territory as Jamie Gold, Christian Harder, Brock Parker, Carter Gill, Eugene Katchalov and the newcomer of live tournament, the young Daniel "jungleman12" Cates coming to pass the milestone of 21 years.



This U.S. Poker Championship 2010 was dominated by Edward Gamaitoni since the beginning of the final table by occupying the place of chipleader. He kept that advantage until the end of the tournament which was also named him as the new defending United States champion. For this victory, he took with him $ 167,616. Here are a ranking of 8 other finalists in this American league : David Gillen second with $ 93,120, third Patrick Carron winning $ 51,216, Mike Sica is fourth with $ 39,576 in the fifth place with $ 34,920 is Gerald David, David King sixth with $ 30,264, Trevor Savage is ranked seventh, pocketing $ 20,952, Eric Panayiotou eighth with $ 16,296 and Christopher Cappell ninth who won $ 11,640.
