World Heads Up Poker Championships: Nik Persaud crowned

In total, 28 players embarked on a bold stroke in order to win the biggest poker event of head's up : the World Poker Championships Heads'up. It is a challenge held in conjuction with the Grosvenor United Kingdom Poker Tour Grand Final (GUKPT) tournament being held from November 18 at Victoria Casino. Each participant paid a sum of £ 2,000 in this tournament, most of whom are renowned poker player pros in live and online tournaments. Thus, Nik Persaud, a local player, Leon Louis, Toby Lewis and Jeff Klimbie were among the semifinalists in the championship. Their meetings were resolved by the elimination of the European Poker Tour champion Toby Lewis at the 3rd place and Jeff Klimbie at the 4th place.



After a final head'up rich in emotion, Nik Persaud grabbed the title and expressed his happiness for having been able to stand face against his formidable competitors, all talentend at this tournament. Without doubt, his experiences including his participation in three final tables of the GUKPT tournaments have been very beneficial and helped him to dominate his opponents. This well-deserved triumph has earned him $ 30,000 while the second best player of the tournament took home $ 15,000. Fans of the champion Nik Persaud awaits him the same success in the main event of the GUKPT Grand Final.
