World Poker Tour : A season 9 rich of tournaments
Since its first organization in 2001, the World Poker Tour is one of the leading tournaments on the world circuit of poker. This longevity is due to its all-out policy that attracts more and more players from different backgrounds. If at the beginning, this tournament was simply reserved to U.S. participants, today, all possible improvements are realized to keep true its motto that is “easy participation for players in the competition”. During those nine years of existence, the World Poker Tour withstood various challenges posed by the creation of other competitions such as the APPT tournaments, the BPT, the LAPT, the PPT, the UPO, the Aussie Millions, the EPT, the NAPT, the France Poker Tour, the FPS, or the WSOPE accompanied by more important means that are the media channels.
Faced to this revolution, the organizers of the WPT have also brought innovations and new ideas by expanding the host countries like during the year 2010 during which two steps on the French soil, in the city of Paris and Amnéville were planned in the program without forgetting the other countries of the Old Continent like Britain, Spain, Austria and Italy. To top it all, the whole team of the World Poker Tour begins today the work to the success of the last stage of the season 9 tournament to be held in the new Eldorado of poker on the African continent of recent times that is the city of Marrakesh. On the eve of its tenth year of existence, the WPT did not envy of other major international circuits and that's good for players who are judges and parties in their motivation to participate in tournaments offered.
