Barrière Poker Tour: Successful conversion of Dhorasoo
The Barrière Poker Tour 2010 (BPT) closed its doors during the middle of November. In all, 7 regional stages were played and a final straight line which has been more than promising to get started with the new 2011 edition. In addition to some 329 players who graced with their presence this big final of three days of competition that took place at the Casino of Enghien, the offered tournament was rather special because meeting of size of € 2,000 + € 200 buy-in and € 400,000 guaranteed prizepool marked this step. In addition, a multitude of talented players from all around France participated in this competition this year.
This final three-day tournament saw the domination of Vikash Dhorasoo who won for the first time a major title. A nice prospect for conversion of this former football player of the France national team that had as main opponent in the final stage of the competition the last winner of the World Poker Tour Amnéville Sam El Sayed who won € 94,500. For this triumph, the third player in the Grand Prix de Paris in 2009 pocketed € 177,000 in addition to a great recognition from his peers. The other 7 finalists of the BPT Enghien 2010 are Jean-Etienne Setzer who won € 50,500; Aladine Saoudi who went back home with € 41,000; Stéphane Benadiba is credited with € 34,700; Thierry Nesa collected € 28,400; Fabrice Dufour had a gain of € 22,100; Jamel Haddad won € 15,800 and Ronan Collet who pocketed € 11,380.
