European Poker Awards: Meet on February 13rd, 2011
Every year for 10 years, the poker community attended the awards presentation of the best players in the poker world at the event “European Poker Awards”. During these recent years, the majestic circle game Aviation Club de France which is on the Champs Elysées in Paris is the guest of honor at the ceremony. Prices distributed there are classified into several categories and for the next edition, the organizers will award the best performance in tournament of the year, the revelation of the year, the casino employee of the year, the Rob Gardner Award of the personality of poker of the year, the reward for an outstanding career and the best online player.
To recap, in the last edition, the price of the revelation of the year was attributed to Antoine Saout for his magnificent performance at the World Series of Poker 2009 and Sandra Naujocks got the coronation of the best European player of the year thanks to her victory at the European Poker Tour. On February 13rd, the event will celebrate its 10th edition and the ceremony promises to be spectacular. Note that the public will choose the candidates who deserve to win trophies. The five nominees for each category that receive the largest number of public voting will be judged in turn by the panel of 8 judges. The awards ceremony will be held on the sidelines of the Euro Finals of Poker at a grand gala evening where all the celebrities of poker will be present. Actually, users are already allowed to vote.
