WPT Amnéville: A real success for the European stage

The second first day of competition at the World Poker Amneville (WPT) recorded a success as remarkable as the Day 1A. In fact, 283 other players came to register at Seven Casino Amnéville to participate in this poker tournament among the most anticipated of the year across France. With these new entrants, the total field of this phase of the WPT in Europe attained thus 543 participants, a real record, generating a colossal prizepool of € 1,637,000. On Day 1B, many famous poker players with a strong French delegation were present. But unfortunately, they were all excluded early from the meeting like the champion of France Valentin Messina, Ludovic Lacay David Kitai, Tristan Clémençon Hugo Lemaire, Bruno Fitoussi, Antoine Amourette, the great "ElkY" and the beautiful Isabelle Mercier.

By cons Antony Lellouche, Roger Hairabedian, Bruno Lopes, Vanessa Hellebuyck and Antoine Saout was present at the Day2. And with his 196,500 chips in hand, the 5th biggest stack of the day, Basil Yaiche alias "basou" will bring up the French flag during the rest of the competition and not forgetting the chipleader Thierry Morel holder of 209,500 chips in hand. In total therefore, 235 players will compete again for Day 2. Note that the organizers will award the 54 best players in the game and the winner will collect € 426,425. This poker tournament went well apart from the story of a Greek player. This latter has indeed accumulated a big stack on Day 1A, but also decided to participate in Day 1B. Fortunately, he revealed the truth to the organizers who appreciate his gesture and permitted him to continue the competition while repaying the second buy-in he acquitted.
