EPT Vienna: Daniel Negreanu at the top for Day3

Among the 278 competitors who played on Day 2 of the European Poker Tour Vienna (EPT) currently taking place at Kursalon casino, there remain only 80 survivors on Day 3. And at the head of the list is the famous Canadian poker pro Daniel Negreanu who accumulated until here 893,000 chips in hand. He is followed at some 200,000 chips least by the Italian Antonio Buonanno. The Main Event of this field is filled with French players, some of them have managed to be among the competitors for the third day of competition as Anthony Roux who has acquired 347,500 tokens, Bruno Launais (195,500), Pierre-Elie de Oliveira (169,000) and Jacques Zaicick (191,500).

Despite this advantage, the Canadian is far immune from a fatal attack because many major players are still vying for the title and the wonderful bonus of € 700,000, and among them are Luke Schwartz, Jeff Williams, Nacho Barbero and Surinder Sunar that will appear on the gaming tables with a small stack of 34,500 chips. However, some famous players have already packed up and left the game as Jake Cody, Sebastian Ruthenberg, Moritz Kranich and Gianni Giaronni. The star of Day1B Laurence Houghton and the miracle of online poker Tom Dwan has already been crossed off the list of qualified for the next step. The Kursalon casino will still witnessed an extraordinary confrontation between the remaining rivals in the race. Note that they begin the rest of the competition with 2.000/4.000 blinds and antes of 400.
