WSOPC Hammond : Kurt Jewell chipleader of the final day

The World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC) taking place at Horseshoe Casino Hammond in Indiana assembled a wonderful field of 872 players for the Main Event. These competitors have each paid the buy-in of $ 1,600 with as target the opportunity to be able to return home with the sum of $ 242,909. Thus, 162 survivors were qualified for the Day 2 of the competition. The poker star Kathy Liebert was part of the field starting the second day of competition but had a miserable defeat. At the end of Day 2, it stayed only 16 competitors in the race for the final day and Kurt Jewell was in the head with the biggest stack in his possession holding 3,102,000 chips in hand.

Kurt Jewell is not a poker professional and his name remains unknown to the poker community. However, he has few accomplishments at his credit in small events and is currently recording more than $ 110,000 in prize money. With this advantage, he could win a place among the pros and make a name in the poker world. However, he must compete with other players as the champion of the High Roller Caribbean Adventure William Reynolds, who is in third place with 1,596,000 chips in hand or Brian Devonshire, who already won an event of a stage of the WSOP Circuit and is at the 6th position with 1,192,000 chips in hands. Note that competitors in the WSOP Circuit Hammonds had also won points to be part of the National Championships competitors.
