World Heads-Up Championship 2010: Seven events on the program
The British capital will be again a focal point for fans of poker next month. Indeed, with the tenth edition of the World Heads-Up Championship 2010 which will take place for the second year at the Grosvenor Victoria Casino in London, the world's best players will meet there from November 19 to 22 of this year. After having received successively the World Poker Tour, the English Poker Open, the World Series of Poker Europe and the European Poker Tour, London via the Grosvenor Victoria Casino will host another meeting of this magnitude. A buy-in of £ 2,200 with a limited number of participants fixed to 128 will be in the program of this event played in No Limit Hold'em.
Each player will begin his game with a stack of 20,000 chips that will change every 30 minutes. Once at the level 6, blinds won't change anymore. To receive the trophy and win the check of £ 130,000, the future Head's-Up world champion should win 7 consecutive duels. For other top ranking, £ 65,000 is awarded to the runner-up, £ 15,000 for each semi-finalist losers and for players eliminated in the quarter-finals, they will receive £ 7,750. To make the tournament more interesting, the World Head's-up Championship will take place at the same time as the grand finale of the Grosvenor United Kingdom Poker Tour (GUKPT), which £ 2,500 Main Event will be played from November 25 to 28, 2010.
