“Poker Techno Quiz 2010” : Problems of hold'em compiled in a book by François Montmirel
The Fantaisium editions will end the year 2010 with the release of a book about poker, specifically its hold'em variant. The next publication of François Montmirel entitled "Poker Techno Quiz" will be effectively released soon in stores. The big day of its publication is scheduled for November 2, 2010. This book containing 320 pages is quite special in the format as it is only presented as questions. The author proposes in this 2010 volume, 150 hold'em variant problems and explanations on how to play with a professional techniques to solve them. Each problem is detailed across two pages in which the problem of the game on the front page and always followed by the solution on the back. In the conclusion of the book, the writer makes a summary showing the possible difficulties encountered by the reader in relation to the suggested answers.
This presentation also make us remember the last book of the trilogy Harrington. By editing "Poker Quiz Techno”, François Montmirel thought particularly in beginners because the terms used are easy to understand and don't take much time. Briefly, the contents of this book is as follows : first the 40 problems in preflop are presented. In the second part, the 48 problems on the flopare detailed. Third, there are 30 problems on the turn and the fourth part, the 32 problems on the river are debated. Finally, to conclude the book, the final diagnosis of the author is : "What kind of player are you?" is asked to every player depending on the type of answer he or she provided over the pages. A book that let al enthusiasts of poker think seriously.
