All In For Kids: A success for the benefit of the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia

Once again, the poker community has just proven they can demonstrate an act of generosity and that poker is a great way to financially support charitable activities. Indeed, the third edition of the charity tournament "All In For Kids" was founded by Beth Shak and Dan Shak held at the Mandarin Oriental New York on last October 21 recorded a huge success. Note that this edition has been organized to the benefit of the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in order to support research on the development of fetal medicine. The event was first started with a cocktail and dinner. And the poker tournament was launched at 7:00 pm. Various celebrities such as actor Steve Martin, author Amy Tan and international poker pros Phil Hellmuth honored the event and brought success to it.

By making a donation between $ 5,000 and $ 100,000, 120 people have been generous to the No Limit Hold'em tournament. During the first three levels of play, it was possible to make a rebuy of $ 5,000. And after a confrontation in which competitors played for a good cause, John Foley of Boston, Massachusetts, won the event. Note that the first two editions of "All In For Kids" helped to raise about $ 1.8 million to the hospital and with the success of the tournament on Oct. 21, organizers have collected about $ 1 million.
