WPT 2010 : Beginning of the Season 9 of the Bellagio Cup VI

The countdown has begun for the new six fateful days with the launch of the World Poker Tour Bellagio Cup VI in Las Vegas, held from October 15 to 21, 2010. Indeed, the new season of the WPT, the 9th of its kind, officially started with a field of 243 players on Day 1 for an entry price of $ 10,300. At the end of the Day 1 of the tournament, Guillaume Darcourt, the French, who already has at his prizelist a WPT title in Bucharest this year is the chip leader with a large margin of about 75,000 chips on his pursuer. This first day was also marked by the non-performance of big names in poker like Billy Baxter, Men Nguyen, Chad Brown, Eli Elezra, or Joe. A valuable benefit to the current player in pole position to reissue and win the tournament.

However, the second day would still be decisive since the organizers have decided to keep entries open until Tuesday, October 19, 2010 afternoon. Thus, potential players of the WSOP Main Event (Day 3 and 4) will still have time to join it. The number of 300 registered players would logically be exceeded and at the same time, offering a prize pool of over $ 3 million is possible. In the meantime, here are the first results of the WPT Bellagio Cup V I: Guillaume Darcourt with 252,300 chips, Joseph Miceli 171,575, Darren Kramer 152,000, Phil Collins 144,350, Billy Baxter 140,000, Paola Martin 138,500, 125,050 chips for Eric Liu, Vivek Rajkumar 115,000, Justin Young110,000 and Roy Wullschleger has 106,000 chips.
