WPT Festa al Lago 2010: A good performance of Affleck and Annette_15

The Day 2 of the World Poker Tour Festa Al Lago 2010 (WPT) had just ended. The inscription continued until the end of the fifth level of Day 2 and the organizers were able to record a final field of 335 participants. The WPT Festa Al Lago is one of the most famous circuits in the poker world and this year, many renowned players stormed the majestic Bellagio casino in Las Vegas to take part in the event like Phil Ivey, Erik Seidel, Daniel Alaei, Steve Zolotow, Scott Seiver, Howard Lederer and Vladimir Shchemelev. At the end of day 1, Payman Arjang and Arnaud Mattern were in the lead. But the second day of competition unveiled also a nice confrontation because after a tough battle, it stayed only 99 survivors to begin the day 3. Mattern was among those who were eliminated and Phil Ivey also.

At the end of Day 2 so, Matt Affleck took the place of chip leader with 585,300 chips in hand. It must also be said that the young Norwegian Annette Obrestad did a magnificent performance and is in second position with 536,800 chips in hand. The two players at the top of the list but they won't have an easy task during the rest of the event because the list of the 99 survivors is still full of great players like John Monnette, Vanessa Selbst, Noah Schwartz, Barry Greenstein, Men Nguyen, Daniel Alaei, Jeff Madsen and Andreas Hoivold. Apparently, the competition promises again to be very exciting.
