Triple Crown 2010: 118 online players already crowned

From 13 in 2005 with as challenge to finish in the top 5 of 3 different tournaments, the number of online poker players who managed to realize the feat of winning three different major online poker tournament in three different rooms on 7 consecutive days increased steadily. For the year 2010 that won't draw up its final statement until January 1st, 2011, the Triple Crown now exceeds 100 winners by rewarding 118 players of this title. A figure quite eloquent that shows on the one hand, the popularity of the poker and secondly, the technical mastery almost perfect of players.



The distinction of Triple Crown began in 2005 based on the results of tournaments organized by major international company in the industry of online poker during which only the victories in tournaments with prize pools of at least € 10,000 and made from fields of 100 players minimum are taken into account. Recently the Triple Crow won was the work of the young Australian poker prodigy, Jonathan Karamalikis aka "MONSTER_DONG" with a superb prize record of $ 2,310,904 winnings in online poker tournament. He received his first Triple Crown on September 19, 2010 with a victory in the $ 50K GTD tournament for a prize of $ 19,800. The day before, Karamalikis has already won the $ 60K GTD $ 100 rebuy for a prize of $ 20,748. On September 17, the Australian distinguished himself in the $ 40k Gtd Friday Special for a prize of $ 12,474. Moreover, the Britain's Chris "Moorman1" is one of the best in the world with a record over $ 5 million in online tournament winnings and 10 Triple Crown accumulated since May 2006.
