Spanish Poker Tour Valencia : Leo Truche at the top for a victory
The Casino Cirsa Valencia hosted since Friday, 1st October the fourth step of the 2010 season of Iberian poker tournament Spanish Poker Tour (SPT). This is a very popular poker event. Note that at each stop, organizers offer a guaranteed prize of € 150,000. For this stage of Valencia, 180 participants have paid the buy-in of € 1,100 Main Event which allowed organizers to collect a prize pool of € 180,000. And indeed, illustrious poker players completed the field. Furthermore, this tournament was played with a magnificent structure deepstack with 15,000 starting chips for 60 minutes of play. So after two days of battle, the starting field was quickly narrowed to 18 survivors, the last qualified for the rest of the competition and they will be rewarded all. Among the great figures of poker who had to leave the party soon were Valentin Messina, Cristiano Blanco and the winner of the SPT Aranjuez, Catarina Santos.
Some celebrities of poker had more chances to start the final day and compete for the prestigious title and the first prize of the tournament amounting € 61,200. The French Leonard Truche is part of the lucky survivors of the event and he is very well positioned to win the throne. Last year, Truche were ranked at the eighth place, a pretty good run for that player. At this stage of Valencia, Leoledingo fans can expect a best ranking from him, perhaps his first victory in SPT.
