Grand Series of Poker : A first step in Riga

The family of poker tournaments continues to grow. Indeed, the Grand Series of Poker (GSOP) have further strengthened the various poker tournaments that already exist. To begin, the organizers of this new event have chosen the city of Riga for its first international competition. According to the latest news, 270 players will be part of this adventure which will begin during this month of October. 20,000 participants took part in qualification for GSOP which 80% were amateurs. Various partners of the Grand Series of Poker offered qualification and buy-ins packages for the event.



Here are a schedule of the four phases planned for this tournament, the first has already taken place since October 5th in casino Reval Elizabete Riga and until October 9th, 2010. From November 24th to 28th 2010 will take place then the second stage at the Hilton Malta which will be relayed by the GSOP Budapest at the Sofitel for next year from February 2nd to 6th 2011 and ending finally with the last step which is the Grand Final in Seville at Hotel Alcora from April 12th to 16th, 2011. All the events of the Grand Series of Poker will be played over five days. In addition, each buy-in of the four steps is set at € 1,500 + € 100 for the main event and range between € 55 and 200 € for the side event which is usually three in number at each time.
