WSOP: A first bracelet for Gus Hansen

The High Roller $ 10,350 buy-in of the World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) has crowned Gus Hansen as winner. He deserves this victory after a grueling duel between him and Jim Collopy. The two opponents have actually had the privilege of discussing the title of the event after eliminating Andrew Feldman and Ram Vaswani. Note that the head's up nearly takes place in November, but organizers decided to keep the appointment as expected by poker enthusiasts. And indeed, the public of the Casino at The Empire London was a witness of a fantastic tournament for two days. At the final heads-up, emotion and a unique show were at present.

Indeed, the battle between the two rivals lasted about three hours. Hansen showed his best tactics throughout the competition. In the first round, he was already in a good position but things changed in the second round and the American player Jim Collopy recorded a great advantage. But Hansen didn’t let him to do. He gets out from his reserves tactics to dominate the third round and eventually triumphed. At 36, therefore, the Dane Gus Hansen has finally won his first WSOP bracelet, a trophy that does not exist in his prize list. This magnificent victory allowed him to earn a handsome sum of $ 288,409 equivalent to $ 456,000. Collopy has therefore inclined to the second place and pocketed $ 178,211.
