WSOPE Event #4 : A great number of professional players in High Roller

The High Roller of $ 10,350 buy-in of the World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) 2010 has indeed started and delighted those who are fond of this kind of championship. A number of 103 competitors will compete on tables of Texas Hold'em No Limit. This field has far exceeded the number estimated by the organizers of the tournament. Indeed, it was expected that the High Roller should record a field of 64 players. The jackpot is enormous in this competition but note that the champion should attend seven successive confrontations before being crowned. In addition, the field consists of professional and well-known poker players as Praz Bansi, Antonio Esfandiari, Phil Hellmuth, Jeff Lisandro, Vanessa Rousso, Jason Mercier, Howard Lederer Daniel Negreanu.

The Day 1 of the competition ended with the elimination of much of these competitors. There are only 32 players, still running the tournament and after this final confrontation, 16 of them will have the chance to enter the list of those who will be paid. Several well-known players have already gave up as Ludovic Lacay victim of Kevin Eyster. The 16 survivors will then resume the game and heads-up between great rivals are expected as Howard Lederer vs. Huck Seed, Gus Hansen vs. Phil Ivey , Andrew Robl vs. Daniel Negreanu, Sondre Svanevik vs. Kevin Eyster, Neil Channing vs. McLean Karr, Saar Wilf vs. Andrew Feldman, Martin Kabrhel vs. Jim Collopy and Ram Vaswani vs. Marius Torbergsen. In short, this will be a unique show not to be missed for fans of poker.
