APPT Auckland: Danny “Brotha D” Leaoasavaii as champion

Danny “Brotha D” Leaoasavaii has just won the title of the tournament Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT) Auckland. The co-founder of Dawn Raid Entertainment and number of hip-hop record label in the South Pacific region demonstrated great skill by making once again talking about him. Indeed, Brotha D took over the trophy of the Main Event of NZD $ 3,000 buy-in of the APPT Auckland tournament last Sunday. He imposed his game to the 218 participants of the competition. On the eve of the final day, Brotha D has already a large advantage as chip leader. At the final table, players with the lowest stack with Leo Boxell, Danny Silk, Noah Vogelman, Soriano Ramos and Santi Ropati Toleafoa were the first to leave the table and ranked respectively in the 9th, 8th, 7th and 6 th place. Tamas Lendvai, Danny Silk and Srdjan Mitrovic respectively finished in the 5th, 4th and 3rd place, and the final duel was played between Brotha D and Tom Grigg.

The New Zealanders of 40 years realized an outstanding performance at this tournament. Both contestants have begun the final heads'up with a small difference in number of chips. And after a fairly short battle that took place between the two players, the Australian Tom Grigg was defeated and took the place of runner up and pocketed a premium of NZD $ 107,000 as second finalist. As for Brotha D, except the honorable title which he won, he was also rewarded with NZD $ 170,000, the biggest profit he won in his career as a poker pro.
