WPT Borgata Poker Open: Papola chipleader of the Day 1A

The Day 1A of the WPT Borgata Poker Open Stage, in Atlantic City registered the participation of some 311 poker players, with big names like Tyffany Michelle, Maria Ho, the Levy brothers, Michael Binger, Thomas Manning, but especially the French and winner of last year Olivier Busquet, coming back to defend his title and he was qualified for the Day 2. The American Mike Sexton coming back this season for his first WPT is also part and has accumulated 70,400 chips at this meeting with an average of 48,300 chips for qualifiers. This first day was dominated by the holder of a WSOP bracelet Jeff Papola. The young American player who held the position of chipleader for a while is qualified for the second starting day of Monday with a stack of 156,200 chips. The WPT Borgata Poker Open being held at the same time as the World Series of Poker Europe in London will have to do a big effort if participation is concerned but will certainly receive players used to play the circuit as Gavin Smith, Kathy Liebert and Chris Bell for more.



In the meantime, here is the result of the WPT Borgata Poker Open Day 1A for those who received more than 100,000 chips : first position Jeff Papola with 156,200 chips, Giuseppe Pantaleo at the second place collecting 148,300 chips; Allen Bari third position with 127,300 chips, with 114,525 chips Kim Alexander is at the fourth position ; rank from fifth to eleventh place, there are Francis Lamothe (110,725), Justin Scott (110,700), Evan Jarvis (108,500), Nick Grippo (105,600), Behzad Manshoory (105,300), Thomas Manning ( 100,125) and Matt Lombardi has 100,000 chips.
