Charity tournament: Annie Duke and Howard Lederer rally in favor of Child Rescue
On Wednesday, November 3rd, a charity poker tournament will be held at the Bicycle Casino in Bell Gardens, California. This is a charity event organized to the benefit of the Child Rescue Association which is fighting against the sale of children into the sex trade. Indeed, many children are victims of such injustice in the United States and Canada. The organization of this tournament is the result of a unique alliance between the International Media Mogul Sumner Redstone and the two stars of poker Annie Duke and Howard Lederer. We have to say that the two pro poker players take to heart their efforts to eliminate this scourge that afflicted young children.
At this big event, many celebrities and famous poker players like Mike Sexton, Yosh Nakano, Lupe Soto, Linda Johnson, Jan Fisher, Ali Nejard, Marsha Wagoner, Melissa Hayden, Nolan Dalla, Alan Cunningham, Chad Brown, Gina Hecht and Brian Herowitz are joining the two stars at the Bicycle Casino. Dianna Donofrio Trigazi known for her various contributions in promoting the poker industry since 1985 will be the guest of honor who will hold the role of tournament director at the Chil Rescue Poker celebrity tournament. Note that she worked as Satellite director of the World Series of Poker 2005 (WSOP), pay out Manager of the WSOP 2006 and was the first to launch the tournament Legends of Poker. Poker enthusiasts are expected to participate in this tournament of $200+40 buy-in. Many prizes are to win including a guitar with autographs of famous artists like Nick Hexum and Chris Carrabba, a trip for two to Costa Rica and many others.
