Belgium Open Poker Championships: The sixth edition on October 9th

The sixth edition of the Belgium Open Poker Championships will take place from October 9th to 17th, 2010 at Casino de Namur. This new competition 2010 will have several events in the program from €100 to €1,700 for the Main Event. Thus, the Main Event will be played during nine days with 4 days of elimination rounds. This will usually be parts with slow structured plays with 250BB and rounds of an hour. In addition, the qualifying rounds at a lower buy-in of € 100 will be held at the same Casino de Namur from October 9th to 11th. Similarly, a Ladies tournament of €110 is also included in the program for this sporting event of the BOPC. Note that inclusive packages of €2,500 will be offered by organizers during the tournament which is also one of the most attractive in Europe.



Like the two previous years, organizers of the biggest poker festival in Belgium will rely on a large number of participants and hope to surpass the 843 competitors in the main event in 2008. As usual also, a head's up championship by team with € 5,200 buy-in will be held during this sixth edition with the help of many professionals in the discipline. For 2009, the last head's up championship was won by the team of Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier, Arnaud Mattern, Johnny Lodden and Julien Brécard. Regarding the 2009 final of the Belgium Open Poker Championships, fifth edition, it has been won by the Belgian player Antonio Guida.
